President & CEO
April M. (Brooks) Bragg is a native of Dublin, Georgia; but she has called Milledgeville home since 1996 when she came to Georgia College where she later graduated with degrees in Theatre (Performance) and Marketing. April has spent the last 13 years working with small businesses, nonprofits and associations to develop effective marketing campaigns, branding strategies and event planning models to grow their organizations.
Along with her husband Terry and their two children, Abi and Drew, April is actively involved in business and community development through both professional and volunteer roles in Milledgeville-Baldwin County. In 2002, April founded the Distinguished Young Women of Milledgeville-Baldwin County Scholarship Program, and remains involved with the program at the local, state and national level. April is a member of Northridge Christian Church where she is a vocalist on the worship team. She is a member of the Milledgeville Rotary Club, Leadership Baldwin Class of 2012, and serves on the board of Milledgeville MainStreet/DDA.

Ashley (Kennedy) Bacon is a native of Putnam County and has called Milledgeville home since 1998 when she attended Georgia College, pursuing a BBA in Business with a focus in marketing and management. She has top notch track record with over 12 years of experience in non-profit work, fundraising, volunteer management, sales and marketing. Offspring of small business owners, she has an extra-large heart for small business owners and strives to address the issues impacting our economic pulse.
Upon joining the team in 2011, she jumped in with both feet, taking on key roles for various organizations including Riverbend State Correctional Facility (Community Advisory Board), Baldwin College & Career Academy (Advisory Council) and she serves as Advisory Chair for the Young Professionals of Milledgeville-Baldwin County. While she’s excited about the growth potential of the community and aims to be a resourceful asset to businesses at large, she focuses her prime time on membership as well as the execution of the Chamber’s premier fundraisers and programs including the Golf Classic, Blue Sapphire Gala and Reality Check.
Ashley and her husband Nath, along with their children Jenna and Riley, are active partners of Northridge Christian Church where they both volunteer in children’s ministry.
Director of Joint-Operations
For the past 12 years Henry (Hank) Griffeth has worked at Central Georgia Technical College, the last 6 serving as Vice President of Satellite Operations where he was responsible for the operation of the college’s Milledgeville Campus and its Workforce Development Centers in Putnam, Crawford, and Monroe Counties. In this role he worked closely with the Chambers of Commerce and Development Authorities in those counties to provide assistance with workforce and business development as well as community advancement.
Before going to work with CGTC in 2001, he worked for just over 14 years in administrative and teaching positions at Georgia College & State University with his last 6 years serving as Director of the University Career Center and Instructor of Political Science. Hank is a Certified Economic Development Trainer with the Technical College System of Georgia’s QuickStart program and he completed the Technical College System of Georgia Executive Leadership Academy in December of 2007.
He has served in various volunteer roles with both the Milledgeville-Baldwin County and Eatonton-Putnam Chambers of Commerce, including Chairman of the Board of Directors in Putnam. He is a graduate of Leadership Baldwin and Leadership Putnam and recently served on the University of Georgia College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Alumni Board as Vice Chair of the Development and Finance Committee. Hank is a Volunteer Firefighter for Baldwin County Fire Rescue and is a member of Northside Baptist Church in Milledgeville where he sings in the chancel choir.
Hank is married to the former Cindy Harrison and they have two grown children and one grandchild.

Corey Sussman has called Milledgeville home since 2010 when he came to Georgia College to begin his undergraduate degree from his home in Duluth, GA. Corey is currently a senior studying Marketing and Management. In August of this year, Corey joined the Chamber’s intern team, serving as Communication Specialist as well as assisting the team in branding and marketing campaigns for the Milledgeville-Baldwin County community.
In addition to being a full-time student, Corey is also an active member in Theta Chi Fraternity. He has held the position of Event planner, which require the organization of numerous fundraising, philanthropic and inter-fraternal events throughout the Georgia College community. He also volunteers with Have a Heart, Save a Life and Outdoors without Limits (OWL) which are Theta Chi’s local and national philanthropy. Upon graduation, Corey plans to pursue a career in Tradeshow Management.
Sydney Wright is a senior Marketing major at Georgia College. She came to Georgia College in 2010 after graduating from South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA. As an aspiring entrepreneur, her goal is to work in fashion or sports. Sydney is a member of the Chamber intern team as a Marketing Coordinator assisting with marketing and branding efforts as well as communication strategy development and implementation.
Sydney works for Georgia Bob’s Barbecue in downtown Milledgeville, and she is also a member of Phi Mu Fraternity holding the position of Pledge Class Programmer for her Fall 2010 pledge class. Sydney enjoys travel and has been to Mexico, Canada, and many Caribbean islands. She hopes to travel to Europe sometime after graduation with a study abroad group or her family.
Chamber TV – Broadcast & Electronic Media Intern
Will Marlow is currently enrolled as a junior at Georgia College and State University. Will attended McIntosh High School in his hometown of Peachtree City along with his two triplet brothers, John Marlow and Burns Marlow. A life-long sports enthusiast, Will was named captain of his high school golf team his senior year.
He is studying mass communications where he is pursuing a degree in broadcast. He attended the University of West Georgia his freshmen year and transferred to GCSU in the fall of 2012 to further his studies in the mass communication field. His long-term goal is to work for ESPN as a college football analyst.
